Franklin Energy is working closely with We Energies in the implementation and delivery of several energy incentive programs.  Eligible We Energies commercial, government, institutional and industrial service customers with locations in Wisconsin can receive incentive rewards for energy saving technologies implemented in their facilities.

Chicago Climate Exchange

Franklin Energy is an approved energy efficiency project verifier for the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX). CCX has created a voluntary cap and trade system for carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions. It’s the hope of many that such voluntary systems may someday become mandatory through the Kyoto Protocol or other means. It is exciting for Franklin Energy to be involved in such a new and evolving segment of the energy and environmental business. Energy efficiency offsets are the newest portion of the CCX offset trading market and Franklin Energy is working on some of the first projects being submitted to the CCX.

This is a slight deviation from our historic service to utility and government agency clients in the delivery of energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, and a good fit considering our earned reputation in maintaining objectivity. Objectivity and independence from the end-use energy customer or project installer which will own the credits will add credibility to the CCX effort.
