Executive Leadership Paul Shueller
Chief Executive Officer
Paul Schueller is the CEO of Franklin Energy, providing strategic oversight to the firm's business development, client relationships and the delivery of contracted services for energy efficiency programs across the country. He founded the company in 1994.
Prior to starting Franklin Energy, Paul was responsible for the start-up of a successful consulting company. The company later merged with two other holdings to form an energy services company (ESCO). Paul served as the managing director and shareholder for this company from start-up through growth to seven figure monthly sales. A licensed professional engineer, he began his career with two Wisconsin utilities where he managed multi-million dollar construction projects and designed and implemented energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial customers.
The ESCO experience helped shape the Franklin Energy business model. Paul recognized the importance of having an objective and independent implementation effort for utility programs. Franklin Energy has remained true to that vision of being a trusted resource for our utility clients and their end-use energy customers. This vision has endured as we have grown from a start-up company to one of more than 250 employees.
Paul earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Franklin Energy and the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA), Paul is a director for a bank holding company and a biotech firm, and contributes to charitable board activities. |
