Mark Bowen
Vice President of Business Development - Northeast
Mark Bowen is responsible for leading the company’s growth opportunities in Eastern United States. He has over 20 years of energy efficiency design and implementation experience, which adds significant value to Franklin Energy’s business development efforts.
For the first eight years of his career Mark held a variety of energy management and engineering positions at a large utility company, before accepting leadership roles with multiple energy efficiency consulting firms. As Director of Business Development for a global security and information technology company, Mark was responsible for building the organization’s energy business, and in just six years, grew the client base from six to 22 utilities.
Mark earned a M.B.A. from Drexel University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College. He is a member of Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), Alliance to Save Energy, and the Maryland Clean Energy Center Advisory Board. He is Green Belt-certified in Six Sigma and Total Quality Management.
