The incumbent is responsible for helping meet the business needs of the company providing technical and administrative support for the company’s database systems – both internally developed and externally managed. This position requires the incumbent to work with internal and external stakeholders (program and financial management personnel) in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of databases as directed by the Director of Information Management. The Database Analyst / Database Project Manager* works within a team environment. (*title dependent on experience level)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Providing design assistance, implementation, and maintenance for the company’s various MS Access-based database systems.
•Provide development, oversight, and management of the company’s investment in SalesForce.com,
•Monitor, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of all database systems.
•Providing day to day support for the company’s SQL Server-based systems – designing procedures and queries to meet stakeholder needs, optimizing performance.
•Provide support to all departments, as needed, utilizing the company’s database systems.
•Manage and appropriately escalate issues in a help desk environment.

Education and/or Experience:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
•3-5 years previous experience preferred in MIS/Information Systems.
•2-3 years experience with database development and management
oMicrosoft Access – required
oSQL Coding, SQL server (Sybase preferred)
oMicrosoft Excel query tools
oSalesforce.com and force.com application development - desirable
•Knowledge and familiarity with front end and query tools, and database performance and tuning techniques.
•Help Desk and/or system and user troubleshooting and service experience a plus.

Electric and gas measures are involved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Assist in identifying and providing documentation of on-site opportunities for energy efficiency in large commercial and small business facilities. Provide follow-up as required.
•Assist in analyzing building utility bills to determine energy usage trends.
•Discuss technical elements of energy consuming equipment in a facility (lighting, HVAC, hot water systems, envelope, integrated design) and how it affects utility consumption and demand, to help build a business case to prioritize recommendations and how they affect savings and first cost.
•Enter data into MS Excel spreadsheets and WISeerts databases to determine energy savings and to manage current projects, collaborate with other Energy Advisors/Energy Engineers as required to maximize technical support to the client base.

•Must be a self-starter, organized and have an ability to prioritize workload.
