The company began in 1989 and in 1994 was renamed Franklin Energy Services in honor of Benjamin Franklin, a pioneer in the energy field, advocate for environmental protection and the efficient use of one’s time, money and resources.  These same characteristics serve as a guide in our corporate philosophy and belief in his words, "Well done is better than well said."
